 Christopher Garnett Former Chief Executive, GNER Ltd Christopher Garnett retired from GNER in 2006 after 10 years as Chief Executive and latterly as Chairman. GNER operated the high frequency express passenger service from London Kings Cross to the North East of England and Scotland.
Prior to that Christopher worked for Sealink British Ferries, operating Cross Channel ferries and as Commercial Director for Eurotunnel during the period of the opening of the tunnel.
Currently Christopher is a Board Member of the Olympic Delivery Authority, Chairman of the Olympic and Paralympic Transport Board and a Member of the Board of Transport for London.
In addition to these roles Christopher is also a Non Executive Director of Anglian Water Services Limited and Aggregate Industries Limited and a member of the Advisory Board of The National Railway Museum.
Christopher is married with grown up married children. In his spare time he sails.
